In this last post I am going to mention various issues:
- The revision of the assignment of Andrew for the Goodwood Restaurant. Areas for improvement in the presentation, to try to slowdown my presentation and watch my body language, Also to give eye contact, it will be improved in the future through more experience.
- Some material content is not very relevant and perhaps the information is very general.
- The best aspects were the definitions and suggestions for improvements.
- The latest work skills study that initially was going to be on Ibiza was summarized in an area of Ibiza because the information I had was too much.
- Using e-book for the same job, but finally I did not get to take any direct information of the e-books of college, if I was trying to understand better the process for the future.
- Finally and as a general summary, highlighting the evolution can be seen in the own blog, as initially began as a casual look at not knowing how to approach it, and has slowly been taking shape and through the experience I have been able to improve. I managed to organize a little more time through the schedule provided to us, and indeed has been the most useful and I will use it in the future in terms of day to day, I learned to use the software word much more in depth, and when the work of research, organizing and finding information that you know and choose what is interesting for your work.

NEW TERM
The first task we have to do this new term is a research report in which we can choose the topic, after choosing a topic too broad, with the help of teachers and some friends I decided that mine will be about Ibiza and the changes that has suffered and is suffering.
For this research must not only use internet, but we must go deeper using magazines, books, consultations to people who can help us, and even questionnaires or interviews to enhance research.
About the questionnaires is a technique that stand using in the university and the truth that is very valid, as it lets you know what people think and keep confidential, and is a fast and direct way to get the information that these looking for.
Regarding the summary of the first quarter is very positive, I have learned research techniques such as summarizing, better organization of work, little tricks in programs like Word, when I will have the note with the recommendations of Andrew Ward from my presentation I will attach and also my part of the presentation for Lianne.

STUDY SKILLS 29-11-2011
WORD APPLICATION
The last lesson of the month, we learned to make maximum use of the word, we also learnt very valid little tricks, like placing shortcuts, distance between paragraphs, open recent documents, automate titles, tables of contents, and in my opinion the most useful application, referencing very fast.
I really like about paragraphs because my work used to be informal and not really good organized.
The automate titles are also quite useful to save time when you are working, I used it for the Julia's assignment because it was the same 10 titles in 3 differents sections.

ROAD SAFETY
That week there was no lesson of study skills, instead we did the introduction to the Events Industry and after lunch we went to a conference on road safety with testimonies of people involved.
Note that in the first hour the teachers asked us tips and ideas for improvement.

STARTING THE BLOG
This is the first official class blog up. Lianne answer questions that arise while all we make the blog, the truth is not at all difficult to follow the steps and edit a few small details.

TIME MANAGEMENT
The lesson was presented differently because our teacher Lianne Grogan would be assessed by two examiners.
The class was marked by a few time-tables that we gave the teacher,we had them fill out, were two distinct types, one was a type of monthly hours every day, in which some dates were marked as deliveries of assingments or presentations - and the other tables to complete with the time we spend on activities like sleeping, sports, travel, homework, etc..
It has been really useful for me, in fact, now my life depends of the timetable, because i am writting everything that I have to do, and I am going to carry on doing on myself the next months.
